Elvis Presley Autographed Memorabilia Is The Ultimate Gift

Memorabilia Is The Ultimate Gift Idea.

People are always looking for the Ultimate Gift for a friend or family member. What else would make a better gift than something signed by a Sport

or Movie star or their favourite Musician or Band. Imagine seeing the look on their face when they unwrap their gift and are blown away by what they now have just received.

Signed Memorabilia is the ultimate gift. It means something, it’s special, it comes with a certificate of authenticity and most importantly it will increase in value. Most gifts whether for Birthday, Christmas or just because you love and respect the person don’t increase in value as time goes on but Signed Memorabilia does. Take for instance the sad and untimely death of basketballer Kobe Bryant the demand for his memorabilia skyrocketed as well as the prices the day after his death.

Same as when Michael Jackson Passed away his signed memorabilia increased by thirty percent minutes after details of his death were announced. My Father is a huge Beach Boys fan and I recently bought him a framed picture signed by Mike Love and Brian Wilson, he was so happy when he opened it he immediately put it up on his wall in the living room and I get to see it every time I visit and remember the joy it gave him.

I also know the remaining members of The Beach Boys days are sadly numbered and I will definitely telling my father to get the items valued. Your Love One or friend will be so surprised and happy with this amazing gift and will show it off in their home for many years to come.

Who Is Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi January 8, 1935 and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, with his father Vernon and mother Gladys when he was 13 years old. His music career began there in 1954, his early recordings were at Sun Records with producer Sam Phillips, who wanted to bring the sound of African American music to a wider audience. Presley, on rhythm acoustic guitar and vocals, accompanied by lead guitarist Scotty Moore and bassist Bill Black, was a pioneer of rockabilly, an uptempo, back beat driven mix of country music and rhythm and blues that was rooted from the deep South.

In 1955, drummer D. J. Fontana joined to complete the lineup of Presley’s classic quartet and RCA Victor acquired his contract in a deal arranged by Presley’s Manager Colonel Tom Parker, who would then manage him for more than two decades. Presley’s first RCA single, “Heartbreak Hotel”, was released in January 1956 and became a number-one hit in the United States. With a series of successful network television appearances and chart-topping records, he became the leading figure and king of the newly popular sound of rock and roll. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative hip shaking performance style, combined with a singularly potent fusion of influences across color lines during a transformative era in race relations, made him enormously popular and extremely controversial.

In November 1956, Presley made his film debut in Love Me Tender which featured a song of the same title. Drafted into military service in 1958, after some military training, Presley joined the 3rd Armoured Division in Friedberg, Germany, on October 1st. While in Friedberg, Presley met 14 year old Priscilla Beaulieu. They would eventually marry after a seven-and-a-half-year courtship. Presley relaunched his recording career two years later with some of his most commercially successful work.

He performed fewer concerts however, and with the help from Colonel Tom Parker, proceeded to devote much of the 1960s to making Hollywood films and soundtrack albums, most of which received poor critical feedback. In 1968, following a seven-year break from live performances, he returned to the stage in the acclaimed television comeback special named simply Elvis, which led to an extended Las Vegas concert residency and a string of highly profitable tours.                                  In 1973, Presley gave the first concert by a solo artist to be broadcast around the world

called Aloha from Hawaii. Elvis’s health was noticeably deteriorating around this time and he had gained considerable weight. Years of prescription drug abuse severely compromised his health, and he died suddenly in 1977 at his Graceland estate at the age of 42.

Presley is the highest selling solo artist in the history of recorded music. He was commercially successful in many types of music including pop, country, blues, and gospel. He won three competitive Grammys, received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at age 36, and has been inducted into multiple music halls of fame. He will forever been known as the king of Rock n Roll.

Memorabilia Comes in all Shapes and Sizes

Memorabilia is all about the Nostalgia and theres so much different types of Memorabilia that you can find. When it comes to Elvis Presley Memorabilia theres no shortage of choice. On eBay alone you can find everything from vintage concert posters to Tour Jackets and T shirts and even limited edition professionally taken photos.

On Amazon you can find Custom Framed Gold Plated LPs, Wall Clocks and of course Promo Posters, Concert Memorabilia and much much more. All these items are great and will make the perfect gift. They look good displayed in the home or on the wall and will put a smile on anyones face, but they will very rarely increase in value and they don’t have that personal touch that Signed Memorabilia has.

Unfortunately Signed Memorabilia can be pricey and is more suited as an investment than a gift. In saying that though if you can get a group to chip in, signed memorabilia would make the ultimate gift that someone could cherish for many years to come. Keeping in mind though you need to do your research before hand and buy from a reputable dealer. For this I recommend HollywoodMemorabilia.com.

  1. It’s sad that Elvis went out the way he did. Prescription drug abuse is a an even bigger problem now than it was back then but it’s just as deadly. Too bad nobody was able to put together an intervention for Elvis  but maybe he was just too big of a star for that to work. I only have a couple pieces of Elvis memorabilia but your post on The King of Rock and Roll has inspired me to invest in some more. Elvis and his music are eternal and so his memorabilia will always increase in value.

    • Hi thanks for the comment owning your own Elvis signed memorabilia is a good investment because there is onlu a limited amount of items out there. I’m happy to hear you already have some in your collection.

  4. I’vebeen reading a couple of articles about how to choose a good memorabilia and what to look out for when buying one, I think this is by far the best I’ve encountered so far. I very much agree with you that doing quality research before purchasing  a memorabilia, it’s very easy to fall into the trap of scammers and fakes as the market is already flooded with them. I’ll share this to some other platforms.

  5. This is the first time I’m learning about Elvis Presley and I am really impressed with all I have read here about it, and his achievements are really nice. Buying a memorabilia should be some thing you get from a trusted source and some time ago I bought from a shop around the corner and I regretted making that purchase, since then inahve been making sure it’s from a credible shop.

  7. Great post here on the king. Indeed he was immensely popular and extremely controversial, a true pioneer for rock and roll taking from the African American sounds and rhythms. People live Elvis and Michael Jackson are true legends and unique talents. Interesting to find out the Elvis gave the first live broadcast by a solo artist in 1973. What’s even more amazing about Elvis is that he turned into a pretty darn good movie star as well. I think that signed Elvis memorabilia would make for excellent gifts, especially with the holiday season around the corner. I have saved your post for when it’s soon time to order. Thanks for the great recommendations and keep up the good work!
