People are always looking for the Ultimate Gift for a friend or family member. What else would make a better gift than something signed by a Sport or Movie star or their favourite Musician or Band. Imagine seeing the look on their face when they unwrap their gift and are blown away by what they now have just received. What a great gift idea, Hey!

Al Pacino Signed Memorabilia Makes The Ultimate Gift Idea to any die hard fan. It means something, it’s special, it comes with a certificate of authenticity and most importantly it will increase in value. Most gifts whether for Birthday, Christmas or just because you love and respect the person don’t increase in value as time goes on but Signed Memorabilia does. Take for instance the sad and untimely death of basketballer Kobe Bryant the demand for his memorabilia skyrocketed as well as the prices the day after his death.

Your Love One or friend will be so surprised and happy with this amazing gift and will show it off in their home for many years to come. Alternatively there is also some cheaper and more affordable Rolling Stones Memorabilia that can be found on eBay and Amazon. Although most of this type of Memorabilia is more novelty type items that won’t increase in value they still look good and make the perfect gift for any occasion. Things ranging from rare photos, books and even glassware. My favourite though is the picture frame that comes with photos and a plaque containing the history of your favourite band, actor or sport star.

A Little Bit About Disney!

All kids and adults alike loves Disney and everything Disney. The Walt Disney company was founded in October 1923. Since then the company has grown into a diversified multinational mass media and entertainment franchise that has brought magic to millions and millions of people all around the world.

Disney’s movie catalogue is huge with such feature films like Frozen, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Mary Poppins and that’s just to name a few. Let’s not forget the character’s like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and of course my personal favourite Goofy.

This was all started from a mouse and it’s creator Walt Disney and grew into a massive empire. The theme parks are featured in many countries all around the world and bring the Disney Character’s to life. There is already many collectors out there that hold in their possession some of the most sort after signed memorabilia by Disney but it’s not too late for you.

Walt Disney The Man

Walter Elias Disney was born in Chicago on December 5, 1901 he was an American entrepreneur, animator, voice actor and film producer. A pioneer of the American animation industry, he introduced several developments in the production of cartoons. As a film producer, Disney holds the record for most Academy Awards earned by an individual, having won 22 Oscars from 59 nominations. He was presented with two Golden Globe Special Achievement Awards and an Emmy Award, among other honours.

Disney developed an early interest in drawing. He took art classes as a boy and got a job as a commercial illustrator at the age of 18. He moved to California in the early 1920s and set up the Disney Brothers Studio with his brother Roy. Walt developed the character Mickey Mouse in 1928, his first highly popular success, he also provided the voice for his creation in the early years. As the studio grew, Disney became more adventurous, introducing synchronized sound, full colour, feature-length cartoons and technical developments with cameras.

The results, seen in features such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, Pinocchio and Fantasia both in 1940, Dumbo in 1941 and Bambi in 1942, taking the development of animated film even further. After World War 2 new animated and live-action films followed, including the critically successful Cinderella in 1950 and Mary Poppins in 1964, Mary Poppins receiving five Academy Awards.

Also in the 1950s, Disney expanded into the amusement park industry, and in 1955 he opened Disneyland. To fund the project he diversified into television programs, such as Walt Disney’s Disneyland and The Mickey Mouse Club, he was also involved in planning the 1959 Moscow Fair, the 1960 Winter Olympics, and the 1964 New York World’s Fair.

In 1965, he began development of another theme park, Disney World, the heart of which was to be a new type of city, the “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow” better known as EPCOT. Disney was a heavy smoker throughout his life, and died of lung cancer in December 1966 before either the park or the EPCOT project were completed.

As I mentioned before Disney has been loved by millions and millions of people the world over for more than 95 years. Disney signed Memorabilia is one of the most desired among collectors. Not only does the Disney Memorabilia look good but also choosing the right one could see it increase in value.

Although trying to get your hand on something signed by Walt Disney is very hard and the value is probably out of your reach, there is still plenty of Disney Memorabilia that has been signed by actors that have played a certain character in a Disney movie and is easy to add to your collection and could grow in value overtime.
